Crosses in Quiet Colours

I've just finished the centre panel for a quilt.
They are free-cut crosses made from a pack of Oakshott eighths. There were ten fabrics and I cut approximately 5" squares and some inch strips for the bars, using up all the fabric to make 60 blocks
that finish to 4¼”.
Each block is in a different colour combination which was fun to play around with.
There will be wide white borders  and I'm thinking about a quilting pattern in wandering squares and rectangles that overlap each other.

Lucy's Crab Shack

Wonderful name for a fabric line!
I was given a pack of these small squares and then this week was asked for a cushion for a raffle prize at the Pennyloaf Patchers (another great name) exhibition at Fleggburgh Village Hall 13 and 14 April. They have two great bed quilts as well, and a bag raffle.
